~3 july 2007, tuesday, 12.06am

today is quite a fruitful day!!!

i am being appointed to help out at the Raffles ballroom, 'collyer'. at the start i was stil very confused on where to get certain things and how is the way the handle things. i wasnt being taught on how they wan to handle the event. so i tried to peep and learn from others. everything went ok..

when the guests went back to the function room, i managed to hv some time to mess ard with the staffs there, and i got to noe a grp of them of my age and even younger. they are very friendly and hyper.. it's nice to hv their accompany during my work and they taught mi things. there were oso alot of aunties working there and they are used to talk in hokkien, and i only know the very very extreme basics of hokkien. i was unable to understand their small chats and was unable to join in their chats. it disappointed mi alot. hope i could pick up my hokkien and hv chats with them.

i, too, had learnt quite alot from a team leader 'L.M.'. after the last coffee break of the event, he was so kind enuff to fulfil my request on, wanting to walk ard the 4th lvl and be familiarise with the place. he brought mi ard and told mi more things den wat yesterday the team leader had said. L.M. is a very helpful, friendly, easy-going person. he taught mi in details the setting of coffee break today, how many items needed for ard how guests, etc. he also introduced mi to somemore ppl whom i hvn met up with, and they too, like the rest was shock upon hearing m name. after tat i was given some things to do n den its time to go home! =)

after work, went to cine. to meet up with keney, lor., joanne n wx. had my dinner with them n chatted with them.. i miss them alot!! i miss my frens alot too!! =(

ok tats all for today, its late now. finishing up my supper n time for bed.
